From Gage Cohen, BA '19, student in Arabic:

During the fall of 2017, I had the privilege of interning full-time in the White House Office of Communications. My responsibilities involved performing research, tracking media coverage, attending press events, and supporting the communications team in whatever way was necessary.

Working in such a historic place, especially at this moment in history, was truly an honor and a great privilege. While I did not get a chance to directly incorporate my Arabic studies into my internship, I believe that it certainly helped me in the admissions process, serving as an aspect of my studies that made me "stand out" from others. I certainly recommend a White House internship to anyone who is interested in learning more about how the executive branch functions on a daily basis.
