Teaching Assistant Professor of Arabic
Jennifer Tobkin, Arabic Language Specialist, holds a B.A. in History and Classical Studies from Loyola University New Orleans and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures from the Catholic University of America. Her main research interest is Classical Arabic literature. She joined the GWU faculty in 2005 and teaches Arabic language classes, as well as a special topics class called Gender, Love, and Friendship in the Arab World.
