Mustafa Aksu is an ethnic Uyghur educator and advocate. Mustafa earned his bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature from Tianjin Foreign Studies University in China, and a Master of Arts in Central Eurasian Studies with a focus on Uyghurs from Indiana University Bloomington. He has extensive teaching experience, having taught the Uyghur language at George Washington University and the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Mustafa has also made significant contributions to international organizations focused on supporting Uyghur communities and advocating for their rights. Mustafa is fluent in Uyghur, English, Turkish, Mandarin Chinese, and has studied Mongolian, Dari, and Spanish.
